Last night Tom Cruise arrived at the primiere of his latest flick Lions For Lambs in Leicester. There Tom Cruise has walked the red carpet in Leicester Square at the premiere of his film. The star dedicated a whole two hours to chatting to his fans and even after signing tons of autographs, Tom's hand didn't cramp up.

When Tom eventually made his way round to MTV News where we asked him about playing the part of a Senator and whether he fancied going in to politics for real:

“No. Politics is a part of our lives that I pay attention to but I’m an artist first and foremost,” said the actor.

Tight security and a ban on live interviews helped ensure his red carpet stroll remained free of drama, unlike his new film about a post 9/11 world.
